Terms of Use
Last updated: October 19, 2026
In short
- A mutation changes the artwork and rarity of an NFT you already own. The token itself stays the same.
- All artwork was created in advance. No drop is worth more or less than another.
- You see the exact fee before you sign. Purchases are final. Only payments the Service cannot process are refunded automatically.
- You keep control of your wallet. We never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.
- Nothing here is financial advice, and we promise no resale value.
Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms apply to the ARMY Mutable Soldiers website, including the Mutation Chamber, the waitlist and the artist pages (the “Service”). “We” and “us” refer to the team behind the ARMY Mutable Soldiers project.
By using the Service or signing a transaction through it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
These terms are written in English. Translations are provided for convenience; if they differ, the English version applies.
What the NFTs are
ARMY Mutable Soldiers are digital collectibles issued on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). They are cosmetic. They give no ownership stake in the project, no share of revenue, no voting rights and no in-game power.
How mutations work
- A mutation changes the artwork and metadata link (URI) of your NFT through an NFTokenModify transaction. The NFT keeps the same NFTokenID. No new token is minted.
- The artwork and rarity of every drop were created and stored on IPFS before mutations opened. Nothing is generated at random when you mutate.
- Rarity can change in any direction between drops. A later drop is not stronger, better or more valuable than an earlier one.
- Mutations open in drops of two kinds. Open drops are available to every holder. Temporary drops are available only during a set window, and only to wallets that meet that drop’s conditions.
- Once a temporary drop’s window closes, that drop can no longer be obtained.
- Processing usually takes a few minutes and can take longer when the XRP Ledger is busy.
Fees, payments and refunds
Opening a pack, mutating, and choosing or rotating your Gallery each cost a fee in XRP. The Service shows the exact amount, destination and purpose before you sign, and you approve every payment yourself in your wallet.
- NFT and pack purchases are final and are not refunded, including purchases made on external marketplaces.
- If your payment is lower than the fee, or asks for a drop that is not open yet, we refund it automatically.
- If we cannot complete the mutation after retrying, we refund it automatically.
- XRP Ledger network fees go to the network, not to us, and cannot be refunded.
- Payments made outside the Service, for example to the wrong address or without the memo the Service adds, may not be processed or recovered.
Your wallet and security
- You connect through a third-party wallet such as Xaman or Joey. We never take custody of your keys, and we never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.
- You are responsible for your wallet, its security and every transaction you sign. Check the details before you approve.
- Only use links published on this website or on our official X account. Anyone asking for your seed phrase is not us.
Third-party services
Packs and NFTs are bought and sold on external marketplaces such as xrp.cafe. We do not process those sales, and each marketplace has its own terms. The same applies to wallets, block explorers and the XRP Ledger itself, which we do not control.
No financial advice
Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. We make no promise about the price, resale value or liquidity of any NFT. The value of XRP and NFTs can go down as well as up, and you can lose what you spend.
Availability
We provide the Service “as is” and “as available”. It may be interrupted, changed or discontinued, for example during maintenance or when the XRP Ledger is unavailable. We decide when mutation drops open and close.
Acceptable use
Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Service, interfere with other users, or use the Service for illegal activity, including fraud, money laundering or sanctions evasion.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. We announce significant changes on this website or on our X account. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
